What's Different About Inspiration Dance Academy?

Inspiration Dance Academy is the only dance studio in the area to offer dance education in a completely non-competitive atmosphere. We believe in treating children like children. You will never see a dancer wearing a revealing costume, too much make-up, or participating in suggestive choreography. We believe that the art of dance is just that - art. It is a beautiful, creative art form that is good for the soul. Our entire program is based upon learning dance in a safe, healthy, non-threatening and age-appropriate environment. At IDA, we are all about enhancing and promoting self-confidence, creativity and self-expression. It is our belief that the art of dance is lost when children are asked to wear costumes that expose the entire body and asked to move in ways that are completely inappropriate. While we take away the competitive edge, we still promote performance. Check out our photo gallery to see all the wonderful events we've been a part of throughout the Twin Cities.
